About Us

Our staff, members and volunteers

At the National Association for Protected Persons (NAPP), our strength lies in our dedicated community of professionals, advocates, and volunteers who share a common commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals and supporting families navigating the complexities of guardianship and conservatorship proceedings.

Our Team consists of experienced advocates, educators, and support specialists who understand the challenges facing families in the guardianship system. Each team member brings unique expertise while maintaining our core values of integrity, compassion, and constitutional principles.

Our Members are individuals and families from diverse backgrounds united by their commitment to protecting the rights and dignity of vulnerable persons. Whether they are family members seeking guidance, professionals working in related fields, or advocates passionate about reform, our members form a supportive network dedicated to positive change.

Our Volunteers generously contribute their time, skills, and expertise to advance our mission. From peer support and education to advocacy and outreach, our volunteers extend our reach and impact while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Together, we work as a private membership association to provide education, support, and advocacy while preserving constitutional rights and promoting ethical practices within the guardianship system. We are bound by our shared commitment to ensuring that guardianship remains a last resort and that every vulnerable person maintains their voice in decisions affecting their lives.

All staff, members, and volunteers operate under strict confidentiality agreements and are committed to upholding our Code of Ethics and constitutional foundations.

Supporting families through education, training and advocacy

Our history

The National Association for Protected Persons (NAPP) was born from a profound recognition that vulnerable individuals and their families needed a powerful advocate in an increasingly complex guardianship system. Founded in 2025 as a Private Membership Association, NAPP emerged from years of witnessing families struggle against systemic challenges, procedural failures, and constitutional violations within guardianship proceedings.  MORE
