Defending Rights, Transforming Lives, Changing Systems

Our Impact

Since our founding, the National Association for Protected Persons has fundamentally transformed how families approach guardianship challenges and how vulnerable individuals protect their constitutional rights. Operating from our unique constitutional foundation, NAPP has created measurable change across multiple dimensions of guardianship reform.

Empowering Families

We have educated and empowered thousands of families nationwide, transforming them from passive participants into informed constitutional advocates. Our comprehensive training programs have equipped members with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively challenge improper proceedings, protect due process rights, and preserve family relationships that might otherwise be severed by an overbearing system.

Constitutional Victories

Through our protected status as a Private Membership Association, NAPP has successfully intervened in numerous guardianship cases as interested parties, helping to establish important precedents for due process protection and family rights. Our constitutional framework has enabled us to challenge procedural violations that other organizations cannot address, resulting in dismissed cases, overturned appointments, and restored rights for vulnerable individuals.

Systemic Reform

Our comprehensive documentation efforts have exposed patterns of abuse and constitutional violations across multiple jurisdictions. This evidence has supported legislative reform initiatives, judicial training programs, and policy changes that strengthen protections for vulnerable persons. NAPP's research and advocacy have contributed to a growing national conversation about the need for fundamental guardianship system reform.

Crisis Intervention

Our rapid response capabilities have provided critical support during emergency situations, preventing improper temporary guardianships and protecting vulnerable individuals from immediate harm. Our 24/7 crisis network has successfully coordinated interventions that preserved family relationships and constitutional rights during the most critical moments.

Professional Transformation

Through our specialized training programs, we have educated hundreds of healthcare workers, social workers, court personnel, and legal professionals about constitutional protections and ethical practices in guardianship proceedings. This professional development has created a growing network of system insiders who understand and support rights-based approaches to protecting vulnerable persons.

National Movement

NAPP has sparked a nationwide movement of constitutional advocates who refuse to accept that capacity challenges should result in the loss of fundamental rights. Our members now operate in all fifty states, creating a powerful network of informed advocates who support each other and coordinate efforts to challenge systemic abuses wherever they occur.

Lasting Change

Every family we empower becomes a force multiplier for change. Every constitutional violation we document contributes to reform efforts. Every successful intervention creates precedent for future cases. NAPP's impact extends far beyond individual cases to create lasting systemic change that protects all vulnerable Americans.

The numbers tell only part of our story. Behind each statistic is a vulnerable person whose voice was preserved, a family that remained intact, and a constitutional right that was protected. This is the true measure of NAPP's impact—not just what we've accomplished, but the foundation we've built for a more just and constitutional approach to protecting society's most vulnerable members.
